This week brought us news of upcoming works to Collie Motorplex.
There have been rumours of this happening for years, but now it looks like it’s going ahead!
Track plans are off with CAMS and MA to be approved and earthworks are set to begin in March.
Information is a bit limited at the moment, but the upgrades are said to be the following:
Track extension to 2.5km
Improved runoffs
Upgraded facilities
Pedestrian foot bridge
Track Resurface
This is great news for Western Australia, meaning we are soon to have 2 great facilities to race at, hopefully leading to a two track state championship.
Heres hoping they can upgrade the Collie weather as well!
