Had an awesome weekend down at collie with HCMC for the first round of the club champs and the Collie TT.

The freshened up motor on the RS125 felt great and didn’t miss a beat all weekend, Pro Twin Australia did an amazing job on it and it ran like a dream.

trusty old cbr250rr ran pretty well, i need to do some tweaking to try get it to run a bit better as its very down on power compared to a lot of the other bikes out there.

practice on Sunday started out a bit slow on both bikes, but race 1 saw me set a new PB on the rs125 and knocking about 2 seconds off from practice and knocking 1.5 seconds off my best lap time on the cbr250 as well.

went backwards a little bit in race 2 on the 125, but stayed consistent on the cbr

race 3 was back down to equal PBs on both bikes.

all in all a great weekend with great people and some good results, specially as i haven’t ridden the 125 since November last year!

Also let one of the new juniors see how he fits on a gp125, couldn’t wipe the smile off his face, I’m sure he will be out on one sooner rather than later.

Thanks to Robert Clarke for his help on the Saturday, those PBs wouldn’t have happened with out you mate.

Big thanks to Dad for coming down with me and keeping me awake on the drive, thanks to Justin Klashorst from Pro Twin Australia for the top to bottom engine rebuild on the 125, it felt amazing!

also thanks to my wonderful girlfriend Kathleen for her help in the pits all weekend and for helping pack up on Sunday night.

Thanks to Tony Treversh for his help in the pits and for drooling over the 125 all weekend haha

Last but not least a HUGE thank you to all the volunteers that made the weekend possible, we had crazy numbers on Saturday and the club ran it without a hitch.

special shout out to Maureen, Bob, Carrie, Lee, Michelle and Dave Gapes, these weekends couldn’t happen with out all the hard work they put in

Thanks to Graeme J Howie for the photos
